Didier Van Keymeulen injury
Tue May 29, 2007 7:59 pm by Race Corporation
Didier has said that it's the first lumbar vertebrae that he has
broken from his Silverstone crash, along with breaking a wrist. Seeing
as the L1 vertebrae is one that is most often damaged in a fall from
height, I will expect video of the accident to be most impressive!

Didier, we all hope you get better soon and get on a bike earlier than the 3 months that some people have postulated.

For those not familiar with lumbar vertebrae, the spinal cord ends at
L1, so we aren't expecting any problem there...though anyone with a
doctorate is welcome to tell me I'm wrong but I think that Didier just
needs bedrest and physio...I hope.
