It would seem to me that Christer is being penalised for the illegal substance issues that surrounded last years Le Mans race and a rider for Fageresjo.el. An appeal was lodged, I seem to remember and any come back or repercussions should now fall back on Nicholas and Suzuki Sweden. Suzuki Sweden are of course a permanent team and cannot be refused entry so nightmare all round, especially as Fageresjo.el were having a really solid points scoring season. Should they really have been docked points for an proscribed asthma drug issue that the rider could have resolved, but chose not to!
